OLUTUNFESE BABATUNDE 

The C.E.O GonG Limited, Tunde Olutunfese, who grew up in Ibadan in the late 60’s, who is also passionate about reviving the entertainment industry. Tunde, who had his primary and secondary education in Ibadan,Oyo State Nigeria, procededed to the united kingdom to pursue his career in photography and media studies. His love for what he does paved way and made him relentless in his effort to seeing that he achieved his dream as an icon in media like he ALWAYS dreamt to be, right from his cradle.

Tunde having left Nigeria years back purposed in his heart to bring advancement to his home country by using his artistic prowess to bless and beautify life here  as his own contribution to make life a better place. This media oratory having spent over two decades of training, practice and countless experience in his field decided to come back home January 2012. His arrival was to establish an annex of his company called GonG Media in Nigeria to put a professional feel and touch to Artistry in Nigeria.

He is a mobilizer, an organizer. He has an exceptional skill in event planning and creating. You can also call him a statistician and logistician. He is indeed a blessing to the Entertainment industry.

Tunde olutunfese is a proud and sophisticated photographer, a music producer, a movie director. He is the Chief Strategic Officer (CSO) of GonG Media (UK & NIGERIA).

AKINNAYAJO BABATUNDE ( MR.TUNEZ)

AKINNAYAJO BABATUNDE was born on the 12^th of December in the 80s in the city of Ibadan into the family Caleb and Elizabeth Akinnayajo, who hails from Idanre, Ondo State. Tunde attended omolewa n/p School for his primary education as he discovered his talent in acting skills participating in the school curricular activities, his outstanding character and skills earned him the prestigious post of the senior prefect boy of the school. He proceeded to the ever green and outstanding Oritamefa Baptist Model School where he had his secondary studies. He was actively involved in the school drama department which was headed by DAMILOLA MIKE- BAMILOYE who happens to be the son of the reputable and artistic gospel actor and producer of Mount Zion Film Ministries. He submitted himself for the usage of God’s work. He is a committed Christian who has the fear of God in him.

Call him a giant luminary, he is singer by birth; he came into light of great entertainment in the year 2007 as he released an album tagged SOLIDARITY with his group of Four young talented friends popularly called DATUTYZ. The album commanded a lot of attention and ovation.

AKINNAYAJO BABATUNDE is a Graduate of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, where he studied sociology and Anthropology. The University served as the spring board platform where he registered his stage name ’’Mr.Tunez’’, in respect to his skills that has no pear in oratory. Here, he was able to touch lives with his unrelented effort to make people laugh and happy by managing successfully a Comedy group (House of Talk) for three years even though he wasn’t a comedian. He was a MC, Entertainment Consultant & event planner, a voice actor. These he did throughout his stay in the university that earned him several awards.

Mr.Tunez is a perfectionist of Entertainments. He acts, sings, directs and does voice over. He has engaged in a lot of events around the country. He is indeed an Entertainer.

View him sociologically, psychologically, economically, socially; you will see a stature bigger than that of a giant. Mr.Tunez is presently the official red carpet host and Mc of GonGtv a sister company to UK Based GonG Photography and GonG Records.

ADEYEBA OLUWATIMILEHIN (Tim-Ebz)

ADEYEBA OLUWATIMILEHIN Ebenezer was born on the 28^th of September in the 80s in the ancient city of Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria. Oluwatimilehin is a native of another ancient city, Ile-Ife in Osun State Nigeria. He is the last of four children. He is a God fearing Christian from a Baptist family.

Timi had his primary education in Oritamefa Baptist N/P School and moved on to the great Oritamefa Baptist Model School where he did his secondary school. Timi while in secondary school was actively involved in the press society and drama department which was headed by DAMILOLA MIKE-BAMILOYE (jnr) son of the prolific gospel actor, producer and president of the MOUNT ZION FILMS MINISTRIES. His imprint on the socio and extra curricula activities in the school remains unerased till date. In 2007, he released a 12 tracks album tagged SOLIDARITY with his singing group DATUTYZ (Mr.Tunez, Amotsuka Daniel, Olawuni Dapo and Alagbe Olanrewaju). The name ‘TIM-EBZ’ is coined from his names Timi and Ebenezer.

He proceeded to Babcock University where he studied law receiving the award of LLB and a diploma in criminology. “Tim-Ebz”  as a multi talented fellow while studying law  for five years did not bury his talents as he was actively engaged and involved himself in the social life of the university as he was socials director  and entertainment consultant for his faculty  and university student association at large. He has received various awards for his God given talent and tremendous activities.

Tim-Ebz is a music, fashion, movie and football (soccer) lover, let’s just say he is in love with entertainment. He is a great singer, actor, director, event planner and loves travelling.     Tim-Ebz shares passion for entertainment industry with his childhood friend Akinnayajo Babatunde (MR. TUNEZ) who is the official red carpet host and presenter with GonGtv.

Tim-Ebz is currently the media manager/publicist of GonGtv a sister company to UK Based GonG Photography and GonG Records.

1st Ikeja Shopping Mall Fashion Show: A Showcase of Glamour and Elegance

It was an evening of elegance and beauty last Saturday’s July 28, 2012 as Drimcruz Entertainment staged the 1^st Edition Ikeja Shopping Mall Fashion & Music show. The show which was an infusion of fashion and music was put together with the aim of giving budding designers and participating clothing stores a platform to showcase their expertise and array of unique designs. This was aimed at helping them attract the right client to their brand.

Clothing stores that participated included US Polo, Twice as Nice, Woolworth, Da Viva, Nike, T.Peridot, Levite, United Color of Benniton, and Swatch. This was a worth-while as guests were impressed with the array of materials showcased while Designers on display included Yomi G, Uno’ell Couture, Intinct4Kids and Ajeh.  

For Yomi Gbadegesin, CEO Yomi G, “….it was a huge challenge for me….it was tasking trying to stand out as a unique brand however I’m proud I did. ….the commendations and patronage was worth-the-while”.

Top Nigerian Models that graced the runway included Ken Okoli (Ex Mr. Nigeria), Kevin Godson, Michelle Udoka (Best Model Of The World-Best Catwalk), Fredrick, Chinko, Kaleed, Bolarinwa, Seyi and Bola_Muda. Others include Bola Coker, Uju, Love Aganga, Bola Faweyinmi, Ono, David, Seun Bolaji and Bosun.

The delectable ‘Jebele’ Coroner, Kween who has a proclivity for fashion affirmed to the uniqueness of the various designs. She urges that “…..a lot more of this kind of platform should be provided to showcase indigenous and upcoming designers….this is one way we can project our unique African styles and designs”.

Also from Wole Oni, “…I’m proud of the quality of designs showcased today….at this pace, the world will sooner than we expect beam their spotlight on Nigerian fashion”.

To spice up the evening was music performances from Flowsick, Nikki Laoye, Korede Bello, Myke O, Irap, Don Barry, Reingy Frankly and Sax Angel. The event host for the evening was Cool Fm’s Kaylah while the official red carpet host was GonG Tv’s- Mr. Tunez.

1ST IKEJA SHOPPING MALL FASHION SHOW

Drimcruz Entertainment presents the 1^st Edition Ikeja Shopping Mall Fashion & Music. The show which launches this Saturday July 28, 2012 at the Ikeja shopping mall, Alausa is a infusion of music and comedy iaimed at giving budding designers a platform to showcase their expertise and eventually reach their potentials.

This maiden edition that promises excitement and quality has been well received as top clothing labels within the mall has all signed up for this show. Top amongst the list of participating stores include US Polo, Twice as Nice, Woolworth, Da Viva, Nike, T.Peridot, Levite, United Colour of Benniton, and Swatch. This exposure, they are enthusiastic, would help them attract the right client to their brand.

Speaking on the Fashion show, the Convener, Adedamola Cruz Adebowale, CEO Drimcruz Entertainment  who is also Winner Best African Model, sees this as “ ……a platform for  showcasing the immense potentials in the fashion industry”. According to him, Woolworth will be giving 500 discount vouchers for a 20% discount of purchased items over #10,000.

Guest designers who would be displaying their unique designs would be Yomi G, Uno’ell Couture, Intinct4Kids and Ajeh.  According to one of them, Yomi Gbadegesin, CEO Yomi G, “….this platform would give my brand the right exposure”.

Top Nigerian Models to grace the runway would include Ken Okoli (Ex Mr. Nigeria),Damola Cruz Ade  Adebowale (Best Model Of The World-Africa), Michelle Udoka (Best Model Of The World-Best Catwalk), Francis Chinko, Ken Nwadike(MOA winner)and Ajibade Gbenro (Tinsel). Others include Ejiro Jalago Croz(outstanding runway model 2011/2012 Breath-taking female model). To spice up the evening while music performances would be by Flowsick, Chidinma, Nikki Laoye, Elphex, Korede Bello,El-Phlex, Donna Diva, Myke O, Irap, Uche(GuS), Soltune, Reingy Frankly, , and other surprise performances while comedy would be Elenu.

The event host for the evening would be Denrele and Kaylah(Cool Fm) and the official red carpet host would be GonG Tv red carpet Host, Tunde.

GonG Photography covers D'Beat album launch

GonG Photography was well positioned during the album launch of  D’Beat, Star Quest Winner 2011 on  July 5, 2012 as they launched their ten (10) track debut album ‘D’Beat Goes On’ at The Place, Ikeja G.R.A Lagos under the aegis of Now Muzik. It also doubled as the video premier for their ‘Oyoyo’ track directed by Patrick Ellis, written and produced by Paul Play, co-produced and mixed by Del’B.

The well-attended event came on the platform of Live Lounge, a Now Muzik initiative to showcase outstanding artistes. The launch, anchored by the remarkable Andre Blaze, opened with performance from Now Muzik-managed rapper - TBB (Tha Biggest Buta’fly).

Protégées of the first Star Quest competition, Comedians (Nigga Raw & Klint Da Drunk) didn’t disappoint guests at the show as they lived up to expectation. The excited crowd got more than enough when Da Drunk causes a stir with his ‘Diallo Remix’.

The 2012 winners of Star Quest, Crystals, further whet the appetite of the guest with their sterling performance thus giving music lovers something to wait for in the nearest future.

The wait for the main performance was worth it as D’Beat held guests spellbound with their positive lyrics as they performed four tracks from off the album. The tracks were ‘How you make me feel’, ‘fall & rise’, ‘Se len se’, and the Paul Play produced lead single ‘Oyoyo’.
